What is Massage Therapy?

Massage therapy is the manipulation of soft tissues of the body including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints. Our mission is to help everyone manage their muscular discomfort caused by stress, anxiety, sciatica, fibromyalgia, muscle strains from repetitive motion/ overuse, chronic pain, previous injury or related to other conditions. 

Massage therapy is used to help manage a health condition or enhance wellness. It involves manipulating the soft tissues of the body. Massage has been practiced in most cultures, both Eastern and Western, throughout human history, and was one of the earliest tools that people used to try to relieve pain. The clinical massage therapy is the targeted nature of the massage, the level of pressure and patient involvement. Many therapeutic massages are targeted at deeper muscle groups that require greater pressure to reach.

Massage techniques are use with combinations of: Swedish, Deep tissue, Myofascial tissue release, Trigger point release, Active-Release, Lymphatic Drainage, Hotstone, Remedial Exercises: Stretching, Strengthening.

 Massage Therapy service by RMT is mostly covered by work insurance providers. 

 It's the patient's responsibilities to know about about their coverage information, only the client/ member/dependent can contact  their Work Health Care Benefit Insurance coverage information  for any requirements before coming in for the appointment:

• Prescription: if required

• Coverage / year

• Coverage limit per visit

• Coverage Percentage 

• Medical deductibles/ first visit of the year

CANCELLATION POLICY: 

Our clinic has 24 hours cancellation policy. Late Cancellation will be charge equal amount of service booked.

To avoid charges in future, please contact us immediately 24 hours before your appointment.  

If you're sick please inform us ahead of time, a day before. We would prefer you to stay home to rest and get well, book after two weeks without any symptoms.

   It's difficult for us to replace your reserved booking with such small time frame. We hope you understand.

Body & Glow holds a strict 24 hour cancellation policy.  For any missed or cancelled appointments within 24 hours the client will be charged with full service booked. The facility has NO wheelchair accesibility. No elevator. On 2nd floor level. 

Due to busy booking, we preferred clients to please book online. All information for your inquiries are listed in thispage  for pricing and services. We might not be able to answer calls during a client’s sessions.
